MICHAEL
FOUNDER & CEO

Michael Romankiewicz was born in Germany in 1987. As a young man, his passion was sports, from soccer to boxing. Michael enjoyed growing up in a community that still maintained ties and communicated with empathy and kindness. At the age of 16, he began his training in mechanical engineering and has experienced the transformation of the industry from different positions.
In his professional career, he has worked in mechanical engineering and plant construction, in the automotive industry, in aeronautical construction, and in other sectors. In addition, he was a manager in three different countries, serving as team leader, department head, and production manager in Germany, Mexico, and Switzerland. He also holds a master’s degree in business administration.
In the wake of the pandemic, Michael’s experience has led to a radical change in the sectors, with workers increasingly being viewed as nothing more than disposable and replaceable “human resources.” This change in mindset has an impact on the lives of workers and their families, with impossible goals and deadlines, a lack of free time, and work applications on personal mobile devices that prevent workers from disconnecting, as they are expected to be “available” as part of their commitment and loyalty to the companies. It is precisely these conditions that lead employees to suffer from burnout.

He himself has experienced burnout symptoms on two occasions and, thanks to the support of doctors, friends, and family, managed to avoid serious consequences and after-effects of what is now known as the silent syndrome that kills thousands every year. After this experience and because Michael has a vocation for service, Nierika GmbH was born, which is more than just a company; it was created to be a tool for building healthy communities.

Michael was born near Lake Constance, he is the founder and CEO (Cosmic Engagment Officer) of Nierika GmbH, His hobbies include various sports, immersing himself in nature, breathwork, mindfulness and gardening. He currently lives in Switzerland with his wife Adelina and their new avocado tree, Awatkin Groundstander.

JASON
HEAD OF SACRED MILNE AND HOLISTIC HEALING

Jason brings more than 25 years of experience in the health and wellness field, supporting individuals in healing, transformation, and expanded self-awareness through an integrative mind–body approach. An addiction recovery counselor, coach, and educator with a Master of Education degree, he has spent the past 25 years guiding people to improve their health, realize their full potential, and live more aligned, empowered lives.
Jason’s path began in his youth, when early psychedelic experiences profoundly opened him to healing, spirituality, and a deeper understanding of his life’s purpose. These formative journeys ignited his passion for working with psychedelics as tools for deep transformation across body, energy, emotion, mind, and spirit. His lifelong dedication as a psychonaut continues to infuse his work with empathy, insight, and lived wisdom.

A devoted yogi and master teacher of yoga, meditation, and breathwork, Jason integrates these disciplines as foundational pillars of the retreat experience. These practices are central to his own daily life—he truly lives what he teaches—and they play a crucial role in supporting participants before, during, and after their psychedelic journeys. Through intentional preparation practices and a strong focus on post-journey integration, Jason helps participants embody their insights and anchor meaningful change into their daily lives.

Since 2007, Jason has been facilitating group work and leading retreats, creating environments where deep inner work unfolds safely and authentically. At psychedelic treatment retreats, he combines meditation, breathwork, yoga, Qigong, mindset coaching, and integration support—drawing from more than three decades of personal practice and professional training.

Jason brings a peaceful, grounded presence to every retreat, shaped by his own long-term inner work and commitment to growth. A compassionate, highly sensitive healer and mentor, he holds space with steadiness, clarity, and warmth, helping participants navigate their experiences with confidence and insight. His retreat philosophy centers on lasting transformation—supporting participants in changing from the inside out and stepping into a more authentic, vibrant, and empowered way of living.

Born in New York City in 1972, Jason majored in Spanish literature and Language at the University of San Diego, before going on to get his Master of Education degree. His passion for teaching led him out of the classroom and into various learning environments around the world. Jason has completed 6 yoga teacher training courses, as a student, in various styles, including yoga therapy, and he has been the lead teacher of 25 yoga teacher training courses. In addition, Jason is a certified breath work facilitator of several styles, Qigong instructor, and Energy healer. He currently thrives in Thailand and loves sharing ancient wisdom and practices with anyone who is interested to learn. His favorite pastime is going deep!

GRISELDO BAUTISTA
MARAKAME

When Griseldo was 7 years old, he walked the Wixarika’s sacred pilgrimage route to Real de Catorce for the first time; his father had told him to stay home, but he managed to slip away among the other pilgrims. When they reached the first ceremonial site, his father, upon seeing him, accepted that the hikuri (peyote) was calling him. When they arrived at the Wirikuta Desert to begin the hunt for the hikuri, he immediately found a peyote grandfather, and his father, who is a marakame, told him: “You have found it; this one is yours.” Griseldo was surprised and consumed the hikuri for the first time.

It was at age 11 that he felt the call to become a marakame (shaman). While in his community, he ate the hikuri again, and this time he saw one of the Wixarika spirits, Tatei Nia’ariwame. He was watching as the snakes slithered toward the sun and disappeared, when suddenly he felt a large snake climbing up his leg, immobilizing him. The snake then climbed up to his ear, entered his body, and settled in his heart. Since then, the spirit of Tatei Nia’ariwame has lived within him.

Throughout his life, he has held various positions: he began as captain of the jicareros (+ri kwuekame), was later appointed jícara of the sea (tatei haramara), and eventually became marakame (tsaurixika) and jícara of the ancestors (+rikate). Griseldo is currently a third-generation marakame (tsaurixika), father of three children, husband, and guardian of the sacred medicine in the Wirikuta Desert.

Mauricio Hernández Rangel
Head of therapeutic services

Mauricio Hernández was born and raised in San Luis Potosí, Mexico. Since childhood, he has been fascinated by the human mind, its inner workings, and its vast potential.

Currently 37 years old, Mauricio is a Clinical Psychologist with 15 years of experience. Throughout his career, he has pursued a profound path of study regarding the mind and psychotherapy.

During his initial postgraduate studies in Complex Thought, Mauricio conducted research on the Epistemologies of the South. Continuous training defines his professional career. His passion for understanding the mind has led him to pursue various postgraduate certifications, deepening his expertise in Neuropsychology, child-rearing, attachment bonds, and emotional regulation. This is complemented by his Master’s degree in Psychotherapy.

After navigating personal challenges, Mauricio learned that well-being does not stem solely from the mind, but also from the spirit. His personal Yoga practice has provided him with extensive wisdom, which he believes must be integrated into our broader vision of life and wellness.

Mauricio believes that every individual already possesses the internal resources necessary for well-being. Consequently, his therapeutic approach is focused on helping individuals recognise and reclaim these personal resources.

Beyond his professional life, Mauricio is a son, brother, partner, friend, nephew, and uncle, deeply committed to nurturing his various human connections.
